APROMIL-K is advised because SFAS (Saturated fatty acids), are more likely to lead to insulin resistance and are typically found in animal products. As per research studies milk and milk products tend to increase inflammation at cellular level leading to Beta Cell destruction and damage to Insulin Resistance Receptors. Hence, consuming milk and milk products like curd, cheese, paneer, yellow butter, etc. is not advisable to the patient with insulin resistance, except ghee and white butter.
